The CEO Summit 2025 focuses on the theme, ‘Leaders Creating Leaders’. Our presenters, all highly experienced business leaders, will share their insights into the advantages of creating and training leaders within their organisations. We will look at ways this is done, what is effective, and what doesn’t work.
Research will show, improvements in culture, staff morale, and productivity, when growing leadership throughout the organisation are significant. Leadership theory, and practice, is clear that when something is second nature to you, you should be teaching someone else. This frees your time to develop further skills, and, gives others the chance to learn to operate at a higher level.
By attending the CEO Summit 2025, you will have the opportunity to consider the advantages of leadership development, no matter the size of your business. Meet our Speakers
David Williamson
David is the Executive General Manager of Perth-based maintenance and construction company, Warrikal, one of Australia’s largest Indigenous businesses operating in the mining services sector.
Originally from Melbourne, David holds a Master of Marketing and 20 years of executive leadership experience across the resource and industrial service sectors. David maintains an uncompromising approach to safety, a meticulous approach to operational and financial discipline, and a client centric mantra.
Sally Carbon
Sally has developed her executive skills, where she represents all tiers of government and private companies as a business strategist. Since 2012 she has owned her own company which works with major private and government entities to assist them in the growth and performance space.
Sally’s current NED portfolio includes Chair, St John WA: $560m annual operating revenue, 19 services, 9000 team members, growth of 9.49% pa last two years (includes a $1b government contract). Chair, Apollo Health: subsidiary company of St John WA. Board member: Hockey Australia (voluntary).
Mayowa Babalola
Professor Mayowa Babalola is an Organisational Psychologist and holds the Stan Perron Chair in Business Ethics at the University of Western Australia. He has taught and collaborated with industry leaders across Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
His research focuses on leadership, behavioural ethics, and work-family dynamics, exploring how leaders can foster a more ethical, productive, and healthy workforce. Recently, he has been leading the exploration of the intersection of leadership and AI in the workplace.
BRIG Amanda Williamson
BRIG Amanda Williamson was raised in Perth, WA. She graduated from the Royal Military College in 1994 and was appointed to the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps. During her career, BRIG Williamson has commanded soldiers at Platoon, Company and Battalion levels, domestically and overseas, in both full-time and part-time capacities.
In her civilian capacity, BRIG has served in a range of senior emergency management appointments, leading task forces to support communities impacted by domestic natural disasters on behalf of the NSW, WA and SA Governments.
