The CEO Summit 2026 in New Zealand will be our biggest yet. We will be bringing together some of the country’s most recognised business leaders including Miles Hurrell, celebrated sports icon former All Blacks captain Sean Fitzpatrick, and senior figures including Police Commissioner Richard Chambers.

Meet our Speakers
MC Guyon Espiner
Guyon Espiner has been a journalist in print, television and radio for nearly 30 years, including 14 years covering politics from the press gallery in Wellington.
After working with both TVNZ and TV3 he moved to radio in 2014 to present RNZ’s Morning Report for five years.
Espiner has produced three major podcasts, The Ninth Floor, The Service and Red Line and two recent TV documentaries focusing on alcohol and drug policy: Proof and Wasted, both of which screened on TVNZ.
In 2024 he launched 30 with Guyon Espiner, an in depth interview show which runs as a TV show and podcast.
He currently works as a presenter and investigative journalist for RNZ and is the author of a new book: The Drinking Game.
Vittoria Shortt
Vittoria is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of ASB Bank, a role she has held since February 2018. Leading a team of more than 6,500 people, Vittoria is focused on accelerating progress for all New Zealanders. This includes considering the social, environmental and financial wellbeing of ASB’s customers and communities and builds on its 178-year history in supporting a more resilient and sustainable New Zealand.
Vittoria has more than 20 years' experience in banking having joined ASB’s parent company, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), in 2002. Vittoria's career began in New Zealand, working in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with Deloitte and Carter Holt Harvey.
Vittoria holds a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in Accounting and Finance from Waikato University and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand. Vittoria is a member of Global Women in New Zealand and Chief Executive Women in Australia reinforcing her strong advocacy of diversity and inclusion and mentoring women.
Sean Fitzpatrick
Sean Fitzpatrick is widely considered to be one of the greatest rugby players of all time. A dominant presence at the position of hooker, and renowned for his consistent all-encompassing displays, his remarkable durability saw him accumulate a world record 63 consecutive test appearances for New Zealand.
An outstanding and highly-regarded public speaker, Sean provides motivational and leadership advice, with insights from his rugby and media careers. During a long and glittering career, Sean featured at club and international level, for Auckland and the All Blacks respectively. He won countless accolades on both fronts, including 8 National Provincial Championships and a World Cup. Six years into his professional career, Fitzpatrick was bestowed the honour of the New Zealand captaincy, serving as leader of one of the world's finest sports teams. Sean remained in the post until his retirement in 1997 and is lauded as one of New Zealand's top 10 players in history.
At the climax of his playing days, Sean's significant experience was in high demand and his multiple punditry roles, appearing on rugby broadcasts for ITV Sport and Sky Sports, have seen him cover every World Cup since 1999. Fitzpatrick also authored Winning Matters, a fascinating glimpse into how he achieved his success.
Transitioning into the business world and drawing upon the plethora of principles and values garnered throughout his career, Fitzpatrick operates a sport-to-business leadership company. Implementing a variety of individual presentations and longerterm strategies, Sean highlights his core principles to corporate executive management, striving to achieve a winning mentality. He also serves as Chairman for Laureus World Sports Academy, a renowned collection of sporting greats.
A genuine rugby icon, Sean is on the board for high stature clubs, Harlequins and Scarlets.
He was granted New Zealand's Order of Merit in 1997 for services to rugby
Miles Hurrell
Miles was appointed Chief Executive in 2018. He is responsible for leading the organisation, delivering strategy and financial performance, and engaging with our farmer owners, employees, customers and shareholders.
As Chief Executive, Miles has led the Co-operative through strategic reviews into a new growth phase focused on New Zealand’s pasture-based milk, dairy innovation and science and sustainability.
Previously, Miles held the role of Chief Operating Officer, Farm Source, with responsibility for farmer services and engagement, milk sourcing and the operation of New Zealand’s 70 Farm Source™ retail stores. Miles has also held a number of leadership roles across the Co-op, including Group Co-operative Affairs Director and General Manager Middle East, Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe where he led a period of sustained growth across the region.
Earlier in his career, Miles worked as the General Manager of Global Sourcing, building relationships with many of our global partners of today. Miles has completed management programmes at INSEAD (International Executive Development), London Business School (Finance), Kellogg’s NorthWestern University (Global
Sales) and IMD Switzerland (Global Marketing).
Commissioner Richard Chambers
Richard Chambers became Commissioner of New Zealand Police in November 2024. Since joining Police in 1996, he has held diverse leadership roles including District Commander, Assistant Commissioner for Investigations and Serious Crime, and national controller for major operations like Operation Convoy and Cyclone Gabrielle.
He also served with INTERPOL in France, focusing on global crime strategy. Richard is committed to staff wellbeing, community engagement, and operational excellence. He holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce.
Nadine Tereora
Nadine Tereora became the Chief Executive Officer of the New Zealand Automobile Association (AA) in February 2022. Founded in 1903, the AA is one of New Zealand’s largest membership organisations offering a wide range of products and services to its 1.1 million personal Members and roadside support for an additional 1 million vehicles through business relationships. In addition to its iconic membership services, the AA represents Members’ interests, championing road safety and advocating for road users in Government and the media, and has a range of mobility, insurance, home and financial service offerings.
Nadine’s leadership experience is extensive and varied. Prior to joining the AA she held executive positions in the insurance industry including COO of Partners Life, CEO of Fidelity Life and CEO of Asteron Life.
Nadine is a warm and authentic leader who seeks to foster an inclusive environment where AA’s employees can thrive and deliver a service experience that ensures the AA retains its special place in the hearts and minds of New Zealanders.
