What is the Certified CEO post-nominal?
The Certified CEO, or CCEO, is a post-nominal awarded by The CEO Institute to eligible members of The CEO Syndicate.
To qualify, a member must have been part of The CEO Institute for five years and attended 55 meetings. This recognises a significant and sustained commitment to CEO development, peer-to-peer learning and ongoing leadership practice.
The CCEO post-nominal is not awarded for attendance at a short course or one-off programme. It reflects long-term participation in a confidential CEO peer advisory environment and recognises the discipline of continuous development at the highest level of business leadership.
-
What certification is available through The Leadership Program?
Participants in The Leadership Program may be eligible to receive the Certified Manager, or CertM, post-nominal.
To qualify, participants must complete the 12-month programme, attend all 12 sessions, and have a minimum of three years’ experience as a manager leading people, or equivalent leadership experience.
CertM recognises practical leadership development for emerging leaders, middle managers and senior managers. It is designed to acknowledge both participation in The Leadership Program and real-world management experience.

Is certification available for The CPO Syndicate and The Executive Syndicate?
Yes. Certification is available across selected Syndicate offerings.
For The CPO Syndicate, the current certification framework follows the same long-term participation principles as the Certified CEO pathway, recognising sustained involvement, attendance and contribution. The CEO Institute is also developing a dedicated Certified Chief People Officer, or CCPO, post-nominal to better reflect the specific role, influence and strategic value of senior people leaders.
Certification for The Executive Syndicate is also available, with the specific recognition and criteria confirmed as part of the programme framework.
The purpose of certification is to recognise genuine development, contribution and commitment over time, not simply enrolment.
