Kelly Keates is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the mining & metals industry. Skilled in Mineral Exploration, Nickel, Earth Science, Mining, and Minerals. She has graduated from Harvard Business School and Oxford Said Business School leadership programs.

Kelly is a respected business leader, best known as the Managing Director and Owner of Zonge Engineering and Research Organisation (Aust) Pty Ltd, a specialist geophysical services firm serving mining, engineering, and environmental industries across Australia and internationally. She is a Director of Liquid Integrity Systems an innovative tech company with a focus in leak detection across multiple industries and countries.

Kelly understands what it means to build, own, and lead a business through cycles of growth, challenge, and reinvention. Her passion for continuous improvement, leadership development, and opening doors for others defines her approach to business.

Being a business owner in a typically male dominated industry has driven her passion for inspiring, educating and encouraging girls and women to explore careers in non-traditional industries. She is an Ambassador for Marking Her Mark, and a mentor for the Curious Minds Program dedicated to supporting and elevating women in non-traditional industries and leadership roles.

Kelly has been recognised in several industry awards including Entrepreneur of the Year, SA Premier’s Excellence Awards and Women in Innovation and Oxford Outstanding Alumni.
