Karl is a risk management and governance executive with extensive financial services, not for profit and small / medium business experience. Deep expertise in financial and non-financial risk management, combined with strong people management and coaching skills.

Skilled in addressing financial and operational challenges and ensuring strong return on investment through commercial, strategic risk management, continuous improvement, and an end-to-end customer focused approach.

Known for a consultative, proactive and transparent approach to working with CEOs, Boards, Board sub committees and management teams to generate collaboration and implement systemic change. 

Karl is also able to productively and proactively with stakeholders - be they regulators, government, boards, leadership teams to deliver commercial solutions to challenging emerging business issues.

Karl is active in supporting and building awareness of indigenous issues. He is a mentor to former year 12 indigenous school children, works to educate politicians, lawyers and land councils on awareness of indigenous issues and how to improve access to funding for these communities.
