Owen is an experienced Chair, Managing Director, CEO, and investor, specialising in leading large organisations nationally and internationally through periods of change and growth. With substantial expertise in strategy, stakeholder engagement, digital transformations, turnarounds, sales, marketing, retail, supply chain management, product development, IT systems, and human resources, he has a proven track record of success.

 

Owen has led the North-East Asian region for a Fortune 500 company, founded and led a highly successful private equity-backed enterprise, and spearheaded global R&D and marketing for a leader in the health industry. His primary strengths lie in strategic leadership that drives growth and profitability.

 

He has worked across public, private, and PE-backed companies, managing change and re-engineering businesses. His experience includes collaborations with top-tier consulting firms like McKinsey, Bain, and PwC in areas of strategy, finance, and tax.

 

Owen has a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies, as demonstrated by his experience in the medical devices industry and leadership of mission-critical IT projects. He also brings a strong focus on product development and customer experience. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Hammon Holdings, Australia’s largest private tourism enterprise, chairs PWN, and sits on the board of a Medtech startup, where he is leading product innovation. In his spare time, he writes.
