Warren Bingham is a Board Chair, Founder, and strategic leader recognised for advancing high-impact innovation across the medical technology, biotechnology, and agri-tech and food innovation sectors. With more than 30 years’ experience, he has established a distinguished career at the intersection of commercialisation, governance, and global scale, consistently translating breakthrough technologies into meaningful real-world outcomes.
As Founder and Executive Chairman of MedTech International, Warren partners with CEOs, boards, and investors to shape commercial strategy, strengthen organisational leadership, and drive international expansion. He currently chairs and supports a portfolio of companies addressing complex global challenges, including Agscent (NASA-derived methane sensing and livestock diagnostics), OmnisOva (low-allergen eggs enabled by advanced avian genetics), Ferronova (Smarter cancer surgery, better patient outcomes) and Biomotum (Wearable robotics for rehabilitation).
Warren serves as Vice Chair of the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA), contributing to national policy development, industry reform, and the advancement of Australia’s global competitiveness in medtech. He is also Chair of Syndicate #47 at The CEO Institute and is a respected coach, speaker, and Master of Ceremonies, recognised for his perspectives on purpose-driven leadership, innovation, and scaling impact.
Earlier in his career, Warren founded and led the ANZ subsidiary of Given Imaging Ltd, introducing PillCam® capsule endoscopy to Australia. He secured the world’s first national reimbursement for this technology under the Medicare Benefits Scheme and contributed to the company’s growth culminating in a $1 billion acquisition.
Warren maintains a strong commitment to social impact. He is a National Ambassador for Diabetes Australia and a long-standing participant and Ambassador of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout (2010–2025). He also mentors emerging founders through leading accelerator programs, including CSIRO ON, Remarkable (Cerebral Palsy Alliance), Taronga HATCH, and the Hunter Medical Research Institute. His contributions have been widely recognised, including the MTAA Outstanding Achievement Award (2021), AusBiotech’s Outstanding Contribution to AusMedtech (2018), finalist in the Australian Institute of Management Excellence in Leadership Awards (2016), and his appointment as an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University.
