Meet our Speakers
MC Guyon Espiner
Guyon Espiner has been a journalist in print, television and radio for nearly 30 years, including 14 years covering politics from the press gallery in Wellington.
After working with both TVNZ and TV3 he moved to radio in 2014 to present RNZ’s Morning Report for five years.
Espiner has produced three major podcasts, The Ninth Floor, The Service and Red Line and two recent TV documentaries.
Mark Stirton
Mark Stirton joined The Warehouse Group as Chief Financial Officer in April 2024 and was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 August 2025. He is responsible for leading the Group’s strategy and performance.
Before joining TWG, Mark was Group Chief Financial Officer at Mr Price Group, one of South Africa’s largest retailers. He held senior roles there for nearly a decade, following earlier leadership positions at Aspen Pharmacare and Eurotap Investments. He began his career at PwC.
Mark is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Fellow Certified Management Accountant. He holds an MBA global digital business & transformation from University of Barcelona.
Carrie Hurihanganui
Carrie Hurihanganui is Chief Executive of Auckland Airport, New Zealand's primary international gateway and one of the country's most significant infrastructure assets, welcoming over 18 million travellers, 150,000 aircraft movements and $26 billion of trade each year.
At the helm of New Zealand's largest private infrastructure build, Carrie is leading the airport's most ambitious transformation in its history, spanning 400,000sqm of airfield, terminal and transportation infrastructure development.
Beyond Auckland Airport, Carrie is a board member of Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific & Middle East and Co-Chair of Champions for Change, a Global Women leadership initiative to promote to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Carrie is a graduate of Massey University Business School and has completed advanced programmes at INSEAD and Harvard.
Simon Curran
Simon Curran is Chief Development and Culture Officer at Rokt, the New York–based ecommerce company scaling more than 40% a year, and Co-founder of Propel Performance Group, a coaching business in Silicon Valley and Auckland whose partnership with New Zealand Rugby created All Blacks Performance Labs.
A decade inside the world's highest performing teams — from boardrooms to changing sheds, from pit lanes to concert halls — became an operating model he calls Me. We. Go., the playbook of championship teams.

Karen Price
Karen Price is a respected governance leader and legal expert, bringing decades of experience across environmental law, major infrastructure projects, and risk management. She serves as Independent Chair for six private and public sector entities where she plays a pivotal role in embedding best-practice governance, guiding strategic growth, and navigating complex risk landscapes. Karen is also Deputy Chair of the Institute of Directors NZ. Her governance portfolio spans Crown entities, private enterprise, and professional bodies, reflecting her commitment to purpose-driven leadership and long-term impact.
A Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Life Member of Risk NZ, Karen is recognised in global legal rankings and has received multiple awards for her leadership in environmental and climate change law.
Henri Eliot
Henri Eliot is one of New Zealand's leading governance advisors, recognised for his work as both board member and Chair. His senior executive career spans global financial centres including JP Morgan Chase and PwC in London, Deloitte in New York, and BMO in Toronto, alongside emerging technology leadership at Telecom New Zealand.
Henri specialises in AI, sustainability, ESG, and climate governance, holding a Master's in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge. He co-teaches Strategy and Governance on the University of Canterbury's MBA programme and is author of the acclaimed books Board Shorts and Board Shorts: The Next Wave.
He currently chairs Balle Bros Group and Dodson Group.
