PowerHub is building the software infrastructure that enables households and small businesses to access New Zealand’s wholesale electricity market — something currently reserved for generators, retailers, and large corporates.
Today, wholesale electricity already exists and is traded every day, yet most customers are locked into opaque retail pricing with limited visibility or control. PowerHub addresses this structural imbalance by facilitating wholesale electricity trading on behalf of retail customers and SMEs, using a transparent pass-through pricing model.
Under the PowerHub model, members pay the wholesale time-of-use price plus a fixed 10% operational fee, instead of traditional retail margins. This approach aligns incentives, improves transparency, and enables customers to benefit directly from market pricing dynamics.
The funds raised through this membership will be used to build and scale the PowerHub software platform, including wholesale trading integration, customer billing systems, and operational tooling. PowerHub is a licensed Tier 2 electricity retailer in New Zealand and is progressing toward national rollout.

PowerHub is offering a limited founding-member opportunity to access wholesale electricity pricing through a transparent, long-term membership model.
Founding members pay a one-off account setup fee to access electricity priced at wholesale time-of-use rates plus a fixed 10% PowerHub operational fee, instead of traditional retail margins. Depending on the membership term selected, the one-off setup fee secures wholesale access for 3, 6, or up to 12years, delivering a tangible, multi-year discount relative to standard retail electricity pricing.
The membership includes wholesale market access facilitation, billing and settlement, customer account management, and ongoing platform operations. Standard regulated charges such as network charges, levies, and industry fees continue to apply and are passed through transparently, consistent with market requirements.
The founding-member offer is designed for households and small businesses seeking long-term cost efficiency, pricing transparency, and early access to a new way of purchasing electricity. This offer is available only if the collective support reaches its $600,000 minimum funding threshold, ensuring the platform is properly built and supported. If the minimum is not met, all membership fees are refunded.

Campaign Structure
This is a membership-based campaign. No equity, shares, or ownership interests are offered as part of this Offer.
Minimum Funding Threshold
The offer is conditional on the collective effort reaching a minimum funding target of $600,000. If the minimum is not met, the project will not proceed, and all membership fees will be refunded in full.

Excluded Charges
Standard regulated charges — including network charges, levies, industry fees, and GST — are not discounted and are passed through transparently in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Timing and Availability
Platform development and member onboarding will commence following successful completion of the campaign. Access may be rolled out in stages by region or customer type.
Pricing Variability
Wholesale electricity prices fluctuate based on market conditions. PowerHub does not guarantee specific savings, price levels, or bill outcomes. PowerHub's proprietary technology in home battery, solar panels and smart software are tools available to members managing the fluctuations and the price risk.
Eligibility
Participation is subject to standard electricity retailer onboarding requirements and applicable regulatory obligations.
Changes and Termination
PowerHub reserves the right to update operational processes where required by law or market rules, without materially reducing the value of the founding-member offer.
